Wissem Ben Yahia (born 9 September 1984 in Paris) is a Tunisia footballer who is currently under contract with the Turkish club Mersin İdmanyurdu.
He was part of the Tunisian 2004 Olympic football team who exited in the first round, finishing third in Group C, behind group and gold medal winners Argentina and runners-up Australia.[1] He has also appeared in several friendlies with the Tunisia national football team.
He joined Club Africain when he was 10 years old and immediately impressed the youth team coach with his accurate passing and goalscoring ability. At the age of the 13 he captained the side in the junior leagues until his promotion to the senior team when he was 19 years old, hes been a regular ever since playing an influential midfield role. In the 07/08 season he finished top scorer in the Tunisian league with 10 goals.
In July 2011, he signed a three-year contract with Turkish Süper Lig side Mersin İdmanyurdu.
